I don’t know about you guys, but I’m a very unorganised blogger. I was hoping that this post would give me the kick up the bum I need to get the ball rolling with blogging. Between my work life and personal life, I’ve struggled trying to fit blogging in the mix, especially with the organisation side of things.
So here are my top tips to get more organised!
Nothing clogs up a mindset more than clutter. Having a clear workspace will not only make you feel better, but will also boost productivity due to less distraction of things just lying around. If you work in a messy environment, you’ll have a messy outcome.
- Get a planner or a diary.
There’s always one thing that helps me feel instantly more organised, and that’s a diary. Knowing I have all of my plans one place is great, and who doesn’t love filling out a brand-new diary?
- Set yourself some goals.
Setting yourself realistic goals can help you stay organised, meaning you’ll be more motivated and therefore productive. Having goals helps me work harder and achieve deadlines, whether it’s for work or for blogging.
- Take time out for yourself.
Taking time for yourself is important, and if you plan your time well enough, you won’t have to feel guilty. This means more time to run away with the fairies.
- Create to-do lists.
You get a great mood boost when creating and completing to-do lists. Writing things down, that you know you need to do, will help you get the push you need to get them done.
